SATURDAY 16TH - SATURDAY 23RD AUGUST
We will be opening the gallery up again this year for the Hampshire Open Studios week to host a range of artist demonstrations.
Throughout each day of the week, we will be host to a different artist who will be creating work in our window display and be available to chat to visitors about their techniques and inspirations.
Resident jeweller Rosie Wesley will also have her studio at the back of the gallery open for the public to look around and also chat to her about potential commissions.
Artists demonstrations for the week will include:

Tuesday 19th August - Silver Clay Jewellery by Jo Richards
Wednesday 20th August - Illustration by Lindsay Buck
Thursday 21st August - Acrylic Painting by Klara Mehesz
Friday 22nd August - Found Object Art by Gillian Connor
Saturday 23rd August - Architectural Paintings by Ed Marriott

Chalk’s is an art and craft gallery located in the heart of the New Forest on Lymington’s bustling St. Thomas Street. Run by mother and daughter team Harriet and Rosie Wesley, who between them have 7 years of gallery experience and have been practising artists for over 25 years.
The gallery showcases a wide range of local artists work in a number of disciplines, including ceramics, glass, painting, printmaking, jewellery, textiles, metalwork, sculpture and woodwork.
